Support Us - Legacies

A Gift of a Lifetime

As an organisation we are proud to say that we have never turned anyone away. Please remember us in your Will so we can continue to support people who need us most.

One in five people in the UK will have a disability in their lifetime and we want to make sure they have the opportunity to live their lives to their full potential.  At The West of England MS Therapy Centre we support people who are living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions by providing treatments, therapies and supports services.

“The centre gave me hope… it gave me somewhere I can go to do something about my MS.”, Debbie, North Somerset

Our dedicated Physiotherapy team do more than just treat your symptoms; they expertly formulate an individual treatment plan to suit the members’ needs. Our experienced Chartered Physiotherapists are Health and Care Professions Council (MCSP) registered and members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy interested in Neurology.

Our Oxygen Treatment is a lifeline to our members with MS and other neurological conditions. A number of our members have been coming for treatment once a week, every week, since the Centre opened in 1985 and without it their condition would have been far less manageable, and would have deteriorated.

“I was feeling at my lowest and frightened and didn't know where to turn; there it was on my doorstep. I am confident that without my Oxygen Treatment I'd have been shortening my working week considerably by now. I can say hand on heart that the Centre is helping me to continue my life as I want it to be”. Annette, Bristol

We also offer support services, complementary therapies and specialist clinics all under one roof and have a hub of activities at the Centre.

“The oxygen helps me manage my fatigue and the physio helps my mobility, the Centre acts as a lifeline to me”. Roger, Monmouthshire

After providing for family and friends, leaving a legacy to The West of England MS Therapy Centre (Registered charity nos. 801155) in your Will can make a difference to people living with a neurological condition. If you have already written a Will, then The West of England MS Therapy Centre can still be incorporated into it by the simple addition of a codicil. Please ask your solicitor how this can be done.
